Automotive Avalanche
Today I learned a valuable lesson and I would like to share it with all of you.
If you decide to press the little “open sunroof” button as you are driving, first make sure there is no snow on the roof of your car.
Learn from my mistakes people.

I once started my car then turned on the wipers (which didn’t move because of the 4” of snow on the windshield. I then got out and stood on the side of my car and began removing snow from the windshield with my gloves or something. After a bit of snow was removed, the wipers were freed, and instantly dumped a large amount of snow onto my pants and shoes.

Effing brilliant! Reminds of the time my uncle was teaching me the basics of driving, and while holding a piping hot mug of coffee in his lap he demonstrated what to do when you blow a tire and the car swerves. Nice.

Out of curiosity, why exactly were you trying to open your sunroof if the temperature outside was cold enough for snow?

It was about 40 degrees out, but it was a nice clear sunny day. I had been running around and was pretty warm. I just wanted to crack the sunroof a bit and get some air circulating in the car. Instead I got some snow circulating on my lap.
