I went to a venezuelan restaurant in Columbus, Ohio the other day called El Arepazo. I asked them what kind of cheese they used, and was told it was an italian white cheese blend of mozzarella and provolone. If that’s the best “El Arepazo” can do, then I have lost all hope.

Any ideas on where to find Venezuelan cheese? I used to be able to get queso paisa in Provo, but I can’t find it any longer.

Unfortunately, no. I just end up getting Mexican cheeses that aren’t quite the same.
