we come in peace
Yesterday Michelle and I rode our bikes down to a cafe in Park Hill to get some ice cream. While we sat on the grass out front enjoying our treats I noticed a man at a table pointing a camera at me. Then I noticed that he was holding something in front of the camera. It was a small model of the Starship Enterprise. He was trying to capture what it might look like if the Enterprise came in for a landing on 22nd Ave. He would hold the ship up every few minutes as the the sun set looking for the perfect picture.
I watched him for awhile and noticed that he had at least 7 other models on his table which he rearranged every few seconds. He was singing along to a walkman and changed the tape every minute or so, choosing from at least 5 tapes on the table and who knows how many in his bag. He used his thumb to wind each tape tight as he stacked it perfectly on the table.
He was obviously obsessive-compulsive and most likely autistic. Though, he may have just been an advance scout for an alien invasion, sent to find the most dramatic time of day to land.
Comments
I think that he was the owner of the Dallas Cowboys.

You better watch your back!
Don't think that they are going to let you blab about their impending invasion, especially not since you let us in on the secret of the dramatic entry.
