The Usual

A friend of mine from work- let's call him "David Johnson"- learned a valuble lesson one day while getting a hair cut. He went to the barbershop he had gone to since he was young and asked the barber he always used for "the usual".
As the haircut progressed Dave thought he noticed some "unusual" activity going on near the rear of his head but never having had any trouble in the past he let him continue. The barber finished, handed Dave a mirror and said "Well.....?"
This is the point in the story where Dave notices that there is a lightening bolt shaved in his hair. Not a little "tasteful" lightening bolt, no this one was shaved to the skin from ear to ear. The barber quickly realized from Dave's lack of enthusiasm that this was not the man that usually requested that a giant lightening bolt be shaved into his head and generously offered the haircut for free. Dave accepted then promptly went home and shaved his head.
Did I mention that Dave worked as a loan officer? His bank decided that it would be best if he did paperwork on the mezanine for a few weeks until his hair grew out.

no one trusts at least two out of three of the descriptive words in that last sentence.

That's amazing that the barber is comfortable enough to just start shaving a giant 'bolt in the back of his head! no need to even confirm... pretty funny.
