Olympia
I guess at some point I should mention that we have moved to Olympia, Washington, even though at this point only my immediate family is reading this blog and is hopefully aware of our relocataion (if not, sorry! We should talk more). Grant calls this his 'Lympia home and still often refers to his Denver home and wonders when he might be going back ( a quick trip down to the water to see jellyfish makes things right). He seems to see this as a very long vacation.
We are really liking Olympia so far. It has only rained once and other than that it has been sunny and pretty warm. I hear the drizzle is coming soon though. Olympia is a strange place. It is prety small, maybe 40k in the city limits, but boasts two record labels (Kill Rock Stars and K Records), several music Fests, a great farmers market, and the state capital. We've been spending our time hiking, picking blackberries, listening to bands play in the park, and exploring Seattle.

We've been keeping pretty busy; Michelle is looking into opening a little store downtown selling Michelle-stuff, Grant is busy trying to memorize every single book and movie we own, and I'm hoping to find a studio space and a gallery to show the things I create in said space. Wish us luck!

Hey Joe,
My brother-in-law is aaron jasinski, and he has art shows around there often. http://aaronjasinski.com/ I think he doesn't always update the webpage with recent stuff, but he does okay. We're coming up to Puyallup for Christmas, so we'll see if we can hang out.

Tyler had the same problem when we moved - wanted to know when we were going home. He's over it - now it's just me that wonders it.
