Blue Shadows
Jared and I captured this stop signs shadow in blue painters tape in Portland this weekend. We did ten tape pieces total over the course of Firday and Saturday. 2 in Portland and 8 in Seattle. The Frye got 3 and we left the Seattle art Museum with 2.
We discovered that the shadows move much more quickly than you might expect. We had to work as quickly as possible just to outline the shape before it was gone. We also discovered that anything that casts a shadow has most likely been urinated on.
The people that noticed the new shadows seemed to find them amusing. Sometimes people passing by would kick at them to see what they were. One woman declared herself our spokesperson and fended off any questions that might disturb us.
Thanks to Rob and Sara for their help and for the official Team Tape Art blue shirts. I’ll post more photos when I discover how to do more than one per post.

Thanks! I'm glad I'm not the only one to find it exciting.

Don't most posts cast only one shadow? Perplexed in Simi Valley.
