-A pleasant and timely response. I’m impressed that Sara was able to refer to my allegations as “interesting” instead of ludicrous, considering I accused them of hiring a pirate and ruining the economy.

She probably did hire a pirate and "interesting" was her term for "How the heck did he find out?" A free breakfast is the least she can offer after you sleuthed out the truth.

I believe their Pirate would have been offenced if she referred to him as ludicrous rather than interesting. I'm sure she is just trying to please the both of you.
