I guess I should mention this here too. I’ve got a show at The Black Front Gallery on Friday Feb 2nd. It will be an installation of my tape shadows along with photos of previous shadows done around the country and several small gouache drawings done for the show.
So, you are officially invited. Anyone that would like to come is also invited to our house after/during the show. We’re about 3 minutes away. Let me know if you need directions to the gallery and or our place.
Evie (pronounced “E-V”) is doing well and eating like there is no tomorrow. With the ammount of calories she is consuming each day there is a good chance that she is in training for the Tour de France.

Evie was born on the 17th at 9:40am. Mother and baby are doing great.
Once again, the Penrod family is presenting you with the chance to name our child. While we didn’t end up using any of the suggestions for our first born (despite incredible suggestions like Kilrooney and The Kid from Lovetron) we appreciated the help. So, with less than a week until the official due date and no idea what to name our little girl; fire away! Let’s hear some names.
Another lovely day in Olympia. This was taken from the bus stop around the corner from my house. When it isn’t this foggy (namely August 5th through 7th) there is a really great view down into a small valley with an estuary that feeds into the lake. If I stand on my toes and lean my head to the side I can see a sliver of the water from one window upstairs. It’s why we bought the house.
