Finally!
After weeks of rain we finally started to get a normal fall. We were all worried that we had bypassed autumn all together and were already in winter.

Blackout
We had our yearly blackout on Thursday. This time it was due to high winds. I am beginning to think the historic district we live in has historic power lines. Last year we went without power for 3 days, last week it was only 8 hours, which is short enough to still be fun. Grant checked every light switch separately- Hmm.. this one is out too!- and gave us frequent updates- The power is still off!
It came on just in time to watch the Office, which was less disappointing last week than it has been so far this season. Why couldn’t it have gone out two weeks ago right as Michael kidnapped the pizza delivery guy?

Corn Maze
We went to the corn maze today. It was foggy but not too muddy or cold, perfect weather for getting lost in vegetables. I hope no one has let it slip to the third world what we are doing with our corn crops.
