Adrienne was watching a commercial and said, "Hey, maybe we should buy groceries from Amazon"
Reese responded, "mom! you are getting carried away with that commercial. We don't buy what they tell us to!"
Lucy was crying and crying as I tried to quickly make a bottle for her. i asked Anna to try to play with her while I got the bottle ready. Anna really tried but Lucy just kept crying. Finally Anna said, “Well, that was fun, but I just can’t handle this” and walked away.
I was pestering Reese about going to bed and he turned to me, “Why are you SO concerned about when I go to bed!”
When Reese was just one year old he wrote his own entry. Now at age five he understands what this is all about and asked if he could write one again. He tried to type the words he knows but got bored and asked me to type for him.
“My house has lots of fun toys. I have a baby sister. But what are you all doing today? Whoever is looking at this website I mean. Did you know my baby sister likes to say crazy words? I don’t mean completely baby baby words. I mean, like the words a two-year-old would say, since she is a two-year-old. She likes to say ”poofa!“ and stuff.”
“Did you know that Anna runs all over the house and is like, ”jumpy jumpy jump!“. Today she poured water into this weird styrofoam stuff in a box and it made it gunk.”
“I have a robot toy that doesn’t say anything, but you can push buttons on his hands and make them open and close and stuff.”
“What is going on over there?” (with you people who are reading this)
“Right now daddy has a shirt with a ghost on it and a city, what does it say on your shirt daddy? Don’t write, ”What does it say on your shirt daddy, ok?“ So what does it say?”

“I have some friends and cousins like Caleb and Gwenn, Johnny and Tyler, Grant… Of course, I know you don’t know these people very well, but I just wanted to tell you that I have some cousins.”

Anna came down stairs after getting in trouble and announced to me, “Mommy is being rude to me! She is naughty.”
I told Anna that Mommy was not being naughty and that she needed to go apologize to her. She apologized and then came back downstairs,
“I am not being naughty, I am being Obidient!”
I said, “I am so proud of you Anna!”
To which she replied, “You sure are!”
Last night Anna suddenly said, “Oh, hello pee. Are you happy to see me?” “Are you happy to be in my diaper?”
Adrienne asked, “Anna, did you just pee in your diaper?”
And Anna responded with a smile, “Yep. I sure did!”
I went into anna’s room to check on her at 10:45 since she was still up and talkign to herself. I asked her what she was up to and she said she was looking for her little “fie” (pacifier) underneath the mattress. I offered her a big “fie” and I asked if that would help and she said, “yes, but … I am missing a number…”
“Oh, what number?”
“well, this is 4”, she said holding her little teddy bear. “And this is cutie”, holding her baby, and then in a crazy voice she thrust her pink and white kitty at me waiving it around, “and this is 63!”
I said, “oh, well it looks like you have all your numbers then and she said, ”No, where is 64?“

I found the big teddy bear and got all the numbers safely back in her crib.
Today Reese described his new swim shorts, “These are as soft as a velvet rose, or maybe as new snow that has not been walked on or touched yet. And they are as warm as a campfire. We have to get them!”
I shaved my beard yesterday and Anna and Reese were a little bothered by it. I told Reese my face was all soft and smooth now and he said, “But not as smooth as your fluffy beard was!”
Anna asked, “Where did your beard go daddy?!” when I told her I cut it off she said, “Can you cut it back on?!”
